Summary
Sampson Dotse is the story of an ancient African king cursed for his pride after insulting a prophet. When a bell rang three times, his heart was taken and replaced with that of an animal, condemning him to immortality until he learns that God is supreme. His undead heart is sealed in a chest and buried within holy ground.
For centuries, Sampson hides among men as a Catholic priest, moving from church to church. By day, he serves God wearing a rosary cross that keeps him human. By night, he removes it and becomes a vigilante vampire, hunting criminals in the underworld to protect the innocent and atone for his sins.
At the end of this Season, Sampson’s secret war draws him into a confrontation with a powerful criminal mastermind—revealed to be another vampire—setting the stage for a battle between redemption and darkness.
